By accessing, browsing or purchasing from the MAALGOODY website, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or place an order.

2. About MAALGOODY

MAALGOODY is an Indian brand based in Patna, Bihar, offering products across three verticals:

• Handicraft – handmade and artisan-crafted products.
• Origin Store – natural FMCG and food products, including gift hampers.
• Fashion – Indo-Western clothing and accessories.

Our products are also sold on third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho. Orders placed on those marketplaces are governed by the respective marketplace's own terms and policies.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order on our website. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

4. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, prices and other information on the website are accurate. However, product appearance, packaging, colour and other visual details may vary slightly from the images shown, due to lighting, screen settings and other factors.

Handicraft Products

Many of our handicraft products are handmade by artisans. Slight variations in size, shape, colour, texture or finish are a natural part of handmade work and are not considered defects.

Origin Store (Food & Natural Products)

Our food products are prepared and packed in compliance with applicable FSSAI requirements. Please read the ingredients, allergen information, storage instructions and best-before date on the label before use. Information on our website about ingredients or general wellness is provided for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Fashion Products

Please refer to the size guide and product description before ordering. Fabric shade and texture may vary slightly from the images shown. Follow the care instructions on the label to maintain the product's quality.

5. Product Availability

All products displayed on our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products without prior notice.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you regarding an alternative or a refund for the unavailable item.

6. Pricing

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

In the event of an obvious pricing or listing error, MAALGOODY reserves the right to correct the error and, where necessary, cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.

Shipping charges and any other applicable charges will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

7. Placing an Order

When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. Your order is accepted once it has been confirmed and dispatched.

After placing an order, you may receive an order confirmation through email, SMS, WhatsApp or another available communication method.

We may cancel or decline an order in certain circumstances, including product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, an undeliverable address or other operational reasons. Any amount paid for a cancelled order will be refunded.

8. Customer Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when placing an order, including your name, phone number, email address, billing details and shipping address.

MAALGOODY will not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

9. Payment

You agree to provide valid and accurate payment information when completing an order. Payments are processed securely through third-party payment gateways, which may be subject to their own terms and policies. We do not store your full card, UPI or net-banking details.

10. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are processed and shipped according to our Shipping Policy. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, courier service and other circumstances.

For international orders, customs duties, import taxes and clearance charges, if any, are the responsibility of the customer.

11. Returns, Replacements & Refunds

Returns, replacements and refunds are subject to our Return & Refund Policy, which sets out category-specific conditions for Handicraft, Origin Store and Fashion products. Please review it before placing an order.

12. Cancellation of Orders

You may request cancellation of an order by contacting us as soon as possible. Orders can usually be cancelled before they are dispatched.

Once an order has been packed or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible. Personalised or custom-made orders (such as personalised gift hampers) cannot be cancelled once preparation has begun.

13. Reviews & User Content

If you submit reviews, photos, feedback or other content, you confirm that it is genuine, your own and not unlawful, offensive or misleading. You grant MAALGOODY a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, display and share such content in connection with our website and marketing.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

14. Website Use

You agree to use the MAALGOODY website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the website.
• Copy or misuse website content without permission.
• Submit false or misleading information.
• Purchase products for unauthorised resale without our written consent.

All website content, including the MAALGOODY name, logo, branding, text, graphics, photographs, product images, designs and other materials, is owned by or licensed to MAALGOODY and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Our website uses third-party services such as payment gateways, logistics providers, analytics tools and other technology providers. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, and MAALGOODY is not responsible for their independent policies or practices.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MAALGOODY shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

19. Grievance Redressal

If you have a complaint about a product, an order or your experience on our website, please contact our customer care team first. Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and we will work to resolve them within one month of receipt.

20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection provisions that may allow you to approach a forum closer to your location, any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Patna, Bihar, India.
